Women’s Dignity seeks to enable all Tanzanians - particularly
marginalized girls and women – to realize their basic right
to health. We focus in particular on improving maternal health
so women no longer fear death in childbirth, or consequences
such as obstetric fistula.
We support citizens to demand their health rights and to hold
government accountable for progress made. We work with policymakers,
activists, and health professionals to strengthen services reaching
women in poverty. And we share these many experiences through
the media and formal policy channels so change can be monitored.
